FJ Ambassadors Meet @ Charleston Harbor Course

Yesterday my fellow FJ Ambassador from Virginia, Bobby (GoHokies) who was staying with friends at Little River, NC drove down to play golf.  He brought a couple of his buddies and their wives.  While their wives were on a tour at Magnolia gardens we were off to Patriots Point Links on the Charleston Harbor in Mt Pleasant where I live.  Bobby is referred to in the USA community as the King of MyJoys.  He conservatively owns 100 +++ pairs and still ordering.  Great guy and fun to play with.  A great golfer that knows how to use a putter.  He only had five birdies and one bogey, not bad for a six handicapper.  I am a nine handicapper and struggled for an 80.   He will be back on the 19th of June when we will be joined by NCBob, from Wilmington, NC who will be mixing business and golf.   It is great to get together with members of the community and have some fun.  Oh, I did take a couple of pictures.  Have to show off the FJ Golf apparel and shoes and view from the signature hole (#17) where the green is an island in the marshland in the Charleston Harbor.  All four of us hit the Island but only one was on the green but all four pared the hole.  Bobby and his buddies are playing golf in Little River today ( North Myrtle Beach area) and invited me to join them but my wife retires on Wednesday and her school is having a BBQ today and my first priority is going with her today.  I can always play golf.

Chuck and Bobby all dressed in FJ, top to bottom.......except Bobby wearing that darn Cally hat....

View of harbor from tee box with Fort Sumter in background on left........

The green, No 17......easy to hit, all depending on the wind......at least all four made pars...

Bobby and I ended a great day by making birdies on the par 5 #18.  I missed a 15 foot down hill eagle putt....but fun was had by all.....a perfect FJ day....except for his hat......ha....ha....life is just too short not to laugh and enjoy the moment........  Cheers, Chuck
