I waited until I played 5 riding or 2 walking rounds before writing this review. This review is after 5 rounds riding:
PROS:
Wearable right out of the box with little to no break in time! This shoe is great because it feels very "natural" on the course. If you are the guy/gal who likes wearing vibram fivefinger, New Balance Minimus, or any freestyle shoe these are the shoes for you hands down. Basically, if you wish you could golf barefoot but wanted a bit more traction, these are it! The turf interaction is great, allowing you to feel the contours on the tee box, fairways, and greens. It provides great traction in moderate to cooler temperatures (< 90 degrees). The soft spikes don't mark up greens, so that's a plus for people playing behind you. I wore these shoes to play two rounds back to back last week and I must say they were the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. FJ definitely upholds its renowned fame of being extremely comfortable. Also, the sole of these shoes stay exceptionally clean. Grass clippings, sand, anything on the course really for dew sweepers like myself are usually something that clogs up the spikes, but not in these shoes. A quick tap on the shoe and the debris falls off!

CONS:
The shoe traction gets extremely diminished if the air&ground temperatures are up (>90 degrees). Starting on the 20th hole of the 36, I slipped/lost traction in approximately 4 tee shots and 5 fairway strokes. I believe the high temperature made the ground hot so it made the spikes a bit too pliable causing a reduction in traction. A solution to this problem is installing different spikes, but I shouldn't have to, I really don't loose the ground feel of these shoes. They started to squeak on me, even after buying a FJ Representative's recommendation of cedar shoe trees (I waited to use them until my shoe trees came in). The clear plastic that wraps around the shoe has started to come off the shoe in the fold zones. I hope water doesn't leak in these spots.

Loved them at fist...

Over all satisfied. But cleats holders came loose when replacing spikes. Attempted to super glue them in with no success. Can no longer use them because spikes randomly pop out. Total bummer!!...Read complete review

Usually positive and will continue to buy foot joy. Just didn't seem right for the normal quality I get from the footjoy brand.

Great athletic shoe

Comments about FreeStyle-Previous Season Style:

I was wearing another brand of shoe and I wanted to try these so I bought a pair. I'm very impressed with the Footjoy product, I think these shoes are more of an athletic built shoe, where some other brands are built like casual shoes. The FootJoy's are better built and have more support almost like a cleat in other sports, and I like that. Great shoe with allot of support and built for sports.

High Marks

Comments about FreeStyle-Previous Season Style:

I have been reluctant to buy shoes such as the Freestyle as I was concerned about the stability factor. I have worn FJ's for over 50 years and. with getting older, balance and footwork wane. These Freestyle feel great! No issues with stability and grip. I feel like I want to run down the fairway! High marks!
